Hi ladies, I've heard from my FSIL and a few others that BB&B allows you to return gifts from your registry for cash. Do they still allow this? A few people have given us gifts off the registry as early wedding gifts and as much as we appreciate them we really have no room in our tiny apartment to store any of these things. We could also really use the cash for last minute expenses. Anyone know if this is still their policy?

I had to return a few doubles I received at the shower and they gave me cash back even though I gave ti right back to them because I spent it all at the store LOL

They gave me a bit of a hard time when I was returning something from my registry. I told them that when I registered I was told we could get cash back for registry items (which was true, they did tell me that) so they honored it. And it was a lot of money, too!

It depends on the store itself - some give cash, some don't. I recommend giving the store a call just to check before you schlep stuff out there.

BBB near Smithhaven mall does not give cash only store credit

I returned an engagement gift because we had no use for it and it was purchased from BB&B and at the time I didn't even have a wedding registry set up and the clerk gave me back cash!! (Westbury store)
