review of Chateau Briand
Can I just say I am so glad I am getting married at Chateau Briand. The ceremony was outside and I love the outside of the RH makes me sad that I am getting married in March and in a church. The ceremony was quick like the bride wanted and beautiful I belive she said she had rev deb I dont remember her last name. The drinks were made amazing Mike was one of the bartenders and was fantatsic. The martinis were made well from what my moms friend said and they were filled so high that it was spilling when you walked LOL. Everyone was able to sit at cocktail hour which in my opinion is the biggest plus.
The Reception was then in the Leonardo Di Vinci room it was supposed to be in the Santuria but she has an overflow of people so they put up a curtain and split the room in half.The food was amazing. The fried calamri was a little tough but it was still really good. That was all I really ate besides veggies and olives at cocktail hour. We had the fresh mozzeralla with prescito and basil and a mixed green salad as the app. Only thing I would ask is to have more dressing but otherwise it was quite yummy. The penne ala vodka was perfect. Fh and I both had the Chateau Briand and shrimp scampit. It came with one of those fried mashed potatoe thing and mixed veggies. I loved it FH doesnt like mushrooms so he wanted it without the sauce but said it was too plain. Next time he is going ot get thesame thing and just be a big boy and pick the mushrooms out Someone at our table had the salmon and the portabella lasgana and loved it. For desert she had the vienese hour and the cake. Both were delish. For anyone who had reservations about Erga dont the cake was delish and was moist. She had whipped cream with marble cake and chocolate pudding and canoli cream filling.
The DJ was High Energy and they were pretty good. She had alot of those group dances and what not. The dance floor was packed for most of the wedding.
I dont remember who the photographer and videographer were but they were def noticable the whole time.
Florist she only had for the wedding party flowers and they were done by a family friend. Her centerpieces were candle holders with 3 big orange candles to go with her fall theme.
Again everything was really great the service was awesome. Even Tom the GM was in the room durning dinner making sure everything was running smoothly. I have no time to upload pics but I will let everyone know when i do.
