Review of Mediterranian Manor
OK...so it took me a week but here it is...
FH's cousin had his reception here and for the price they were paying it was good. The bride was absolutely BEAUTIFUL and they just looked so happy together. (oh and FH looked very yummy in his groomsman tux lol)
When you pull up to the place it seems like another store front (there is a cement(?)wall around the place). The front of the building when you pull into the valet parking area is nice, there is a picture spot on the right and the front of the hall is all glass windows (which allows for nice light in the waiting room). The cocktail hour room was decent, seemed somewhat cramped (but mind you i arrived late to the cocktail hour bc of puppy) and the food seemed decent, never got a chance to try it though. The main room is nice, decent dance floor, ceilings are a bit low...at the back of the room there are a few steps leading to another level where the bride and groom sit and 4 tables along side them.
The service was outstanding, anything you wanted someone would go and get it for you. Only complaint is the first course was on the table for barely 5 minutes during the bride and groom's first dance...so no one got to eat the first course, some people didnt even know they were offered pasta!! Salad was decent (how can you mess up ceaser salad??!!) and the main meal was decent as well. There was a choice of salmon, chicken franchese and prime rib. I had the chicken, it was a bit dry but the sauce it was in helped a bit. After everyone ate the waiter's came around with a big plater of all different meals and offered seconds to everyone. Desert was good...standard vienesse.
Only thing that i though was weird is the drinking glasses are tiny. The water cups that are placed on the tables when guests arrive are larger than what is offered at the bars...One wine glass i got was equivalent to 3 shots of wine...i thought it was strange...
All in all it was a vey nice wedding and everyone enjoyed themselves. The bride was gorgeous and the groom was very handsome...and they enjoyed themselves, which after all is all that matters in the end!!!
