I'm not going to do a 'review' in our traditional sense because it wouldn't be fair to the Italians. This is not the first Italian wedding we've been to (and all have been in Northern Italy) so I feel qualified to say that there just isn't the same type of reception 'glamour' that you'd find in our NY/NJ area.
So, I'll post pics and talk about the Italian traditions. Maybe some of you will find some cute ideas that would be unique here.
First, pics of the groom and his home. Somoene decorated the whole stairway with ballooons and flowers. Also, you'll see that he has the bride's bouquet. That was the first thing that stuck out at me- HE took pics with the bouquet before the wedding. The tradition is for him to present his bride with her bouquet of flowers when she arrives at the church.

Wow! Great review! I sounds so fun with karoke and the brother dressing like Ceasar and the dancing in the isle. But really, no AC?

Wow Sue welcome back...I was wondering where you were!
Thank you for sharing these pictures...the ride looked phenomenal, like a model and everything looked so classy!
I also didn't bustle my dress (it was doing in PR while I was growing up so my mom didn't know how to make one; I'm sure that's changed now) and I had a filthy dress that guests kept stepping on and a popped button (from the pressure of stepping! ) so girls, bustle!
The flowers...although simple looked so elegant. Actually, everything looked super elegant!

YUP. If you look in the background of that pic with me and my DH, you can see that all of the windows were open.
And, the church was at 11 am. The reception was from 2 pm to 6 pm. So, we were ROASTING
