REVIEW: Wedding at Flowerfield's

I'm going to my friend's wedding tonight at Flowerfield's. FM me if you want to know anything about it tomorrow.



Update: Went to the wedding at Flowerfield's last night and had an awesome time!!! We drove from Queens so the only negative of the whole night was the driving. We couldn't stay over so that was our own decision.

From the moment you drive onto the FF property it's so pretty, the grounds are so pretty and I love how the long driveway had lights the whole way up. The valet guys were right there and ready to take our car right away, no waiting involved.

The cocktail hour room is so spacious and there was ample seating for the entire wedding. They had a steel drum band which was so fitting for the room. The food was great, very different and unique passed apps. which was nice.

The ballroom is so pretty. The DJ had a light show so that made the hall look even cooler. We had our own waiter at the table and he was very attentive. We both had the filet mignon which everyone raved about - cooked just the way we requested. The wedding cake was have chocolate cream and half cannoli and tasted good.

I would say that if your having your wedding at Flowerfield's you have nothing to worry about. The food, service and decor were wonderful!!!

honestly, that's SO nice of both of you guys to do that!!! and it's so funny that you are both going to the same wedding-- hehe...

thanks again SO much you have no idea!! it's hard when you book a place and have never actually been to a wedding there.

I'm so happy to hear all these wonderfuls things. I am planning on having my reception there December 1 2007. I'm currently waiting for them to send me the contract. I should be officially booked in the next couple of days. My only concern is that i'm having a winter wedding there. has anyone ever been to a winter wedding there or no anyone who is having one?

omg... winter weddings at FF are gorgeous: my dream since i was little was to have it in sept (i mean, it's just always been my fave month) but let me tell you-- when i saw the christmas album that they have at FF in the office i very seriously considered switching my date!!! and for me that's a HUGE thing b/c like i said, i love sept and I'm NOT a cold weather person--

they put poinsettias out everywhere, they have a huge beautiful xmas tree in the CH room-- it's just gorgeous-- red and white everywhere.. really breath-taking. also, the grounds are so lush that even in december they are still beautiful and the xmas people's wedding outdoor pics still looked amazing! esp if you get a little snow-- omg!! so you have nothing to worry about with that- it will be so beautiful..

and thanks so much CHELLYNYC for posting the review!!!! i'm so glad that you had a good time and that FF brides can all take a deep breath knowing that our hall is so on top of their game!!

yes, definitely go there when you get a chance and ask caroline or whoever your BM is for the 'xmas album' --the whole album isn't just xmas, it's all the seasons but they have some amazing shots of xmas!!
