I would love to hear more about them too. I think they are the cheapest I have found through research but I have also heard mixed reviews. I honestly do not want to spend a lot on limos, sooo I'd like to know what was so bad about them. I'd also like to hear from people who did not have any problems.

i heard alot of bad reviews on them both on here and on the net.... they were def cheap thats why i too looked into them... but the reviews really make you rethink it

we met with them and they weren't the cheapest place we saw. I felt they were very unprofessional during our meeting. We went with another engaged couple so it was like a twofer deal! The guy or kid we talked to kept talking about his bosses expensive car. It was in the garage with the other limos. I felt like showing off your bosses ferrari wasn't necessary. I felt like saying oh so your telling me your boss is seriously over charging so he can pay for his expensive toys.....

They were just in an article in Newsday from over the weekend; a kid fell out of the emergency window of a party bus a group rented from them. I am assuming that this is the same company you are asking about.

I am using Sir Oliver for limos.....who else did you look at?

They were on my RH vendor list but i wasnt too crazy about them. I went with Camelot.

FH's cousin's used them for their wedding...BIG mistake...they regret having hired them in the first place...FH was in the bridal party and what he said was happening was not cool...
I would look at other companies...

I have never had a problem with M&V. FH's best man used them for his wedding and they were wonderful. I have also used them when the limo company we used for a wine tour left us on the north fork. M&V found us 2 limos on a Sat night in the middle of the summer and came and picked us up on about 1.5 hrs notice.

My cousin used M&V for their wedding last year. It was a complete disaster.

You should check on the Better Business Bureau website for all the vendors you're interested in too!!

You prob. can't find any b/c all the bad reviews were probably pulled.

They were just in the news.. and it wasnt for good things.

M&V was in the news c ause a HS kid was hanging out a window and fell. It was not the limo company's fault. Other than yeah maybe the driver should have pulled over and yelled at the kid but come on we all have been roudy and in HS and probably would have told the driver off. THe kids were clearly doing something very dangerous in this situation and I dont think the Limo co can be blamed

I booked with M&V for my wedding. They were the only company that I felt most comfortable with, they were professional, pleasant....Other Suffolk County limo companies I looked at were horrible. I tihnk everyone will have their opinions. M&V cant be that bad since they have been in business for 15yrs and have one of the biggest fleet with different types of cars.

I dont know much about them. I can tell you that my father was in the limo company for 15 years. He was the president of the Long Island Limo Association as well as held many other titles. I suggested seeing M & V bc I liked one of their cars. My dad told me there is no way we are going with them. He did not express why, just that it was NOT happening.

*btw they havn't determined whether it was a faulty window or the kid was hanging out yet. Plus there was lots of Alcohol on the van with a group of HS kids.... ??? makes you think ????

They were cheap so I searched reviews.. look on here and on google... .they arn't so great. Cars breaking down, not showing up, etc. I paid $100 more and hired a reputable company.
