RH

who did everyone go see reception halls with? did anyone go alone? I have a few more I want to see and I'm starting to feel bad dragging my friends along place after place lol. at the same time I don't want to be that loser bride who is going places all alone

I wish my mom lived around here instead of 1500 miles away!

I have to narrow it down before FH will go with me. so yeah did anyone ever go alone?

FH came to 95% of the ones with me. i did go to a few alone, and i didnt think it was a big deal.....

as you probably know, after you see a few, you have a long list of questions you are ready to start asking. so that is what i did. no big deal.

i would just go and get those questions ready. when you see a place you LOVE and they answer the questions right, call in FH. its all good

eta: i dont think any of my friends would have lasted (with retaining a good sense of humor)...we saw more than 20 places!

FH came to all appts with me. The RH is one of the few things he feels strongly about having a say in (as opposed to, say, florists! )

My FH is coming with me to all of them. We are taking a long to plan since we both have very demanding jobs, so its not every weekend we go see RHs. I dont think its horrible to go alone, but i'm lucky that my FH wants to have an input on the hall.

I went by myself to a few..My FH is always working and we wanted to book something before I went back to school so checked out some on my own.. I brought my camera with me though to take pics for him..Good Luck!!

I went strictly with FH only. He should absolutely go with you. Drag him! It's his wedding too.
DH was pretty good with this. We plotted out our RH visits. We went to 3 in the same area at a time. Luckily it only took us one weekend to find our hall. I'm sure if we didn't work on a strategy we wouldn't have been so lucky.

i went alone to a lot of them! THis way i could be in & out if i didn't like something. Don't worry-theyr'e used to appointments with just the bride. You'll be fine!

Dh and I went together, and if we really loved it and felt the need to bring our parents, then they came. I think they only came to 2 with us, and the final hall when we booked, they came.
