im tryin to keep it between 55 and 65 pp..but we have 200-250 guests
i found a couple of places that are in the price range but i was not happy with the menu AT ALL....there was not much on them...it would have been good if i was hving a smaller wedding but i feel like we just have soooo many ppl

Re: RH hell
Try Leonards...i think that is roughly how much it costs..also maybe westbury manor or swan club in the winter..the summer prices were good so I assume the winter prices are lower

Re: RH hell
i have tried the med manor...sunset harbour...pine hallow... windows on the lake.. holiday inn.. leonards.. bellport country club...holbrook country club..and a couple i cant think of off the top of my head...and either they were to small to fit my guests or they are to expensive or they were in my price range per person but the menu was terrible and by the time i added stuff to it i wouldnt be so out of my budget lol

Re: RH hell
Not sure where you're located, but you should check World Astoria Manor. My friend is paying $83.96 for approximately 225 guests, but it's a Friday wedding. I have a list of places in a magazine I just bought I'll check it out later and see if I can find anything for you.

i agree.
im not getting married there but i have been to a wedding there.
the room we were was big.
the food was great too!!
we are having a small wedding but chateau briand has a really large room as well.
sick menu too.
does it need to be one event at a time?
is nassau ok?

i would prefer it be one event at a time... if the price is good i could change my mind...and nassau and suffolk are both fine

Its probably going to be more expensive for 1 wedding at a time....the places that are less expensive will do more than one event at a time, that is how they can afford to do it at a lower rate.

Re: RH hell
i am sorry youare having such difficulties....i see your date is 2-19 i know in march prices drop significantly....maybe tht would help and then you could add to those menus??or
if there are any of those places that you do like with adding on the enhancement stuff to make the menu great then i would go down there and say listen we love this place this is what we want and this is what we can afford....you would be surprised how willing these RH's are to work with you! esp with this economy!!!
HTH
Good luck!

Re: RH hell
Douglaston Manor starts at $85. If you're willing to travel to NJ, Bridgewater Manor starts at $77 a plate for a Friday night.
