Re: RH hell
westbury manor hold 250 people and for feb you should be able to get it for 85 pp total. I highly doubt that for that price you are at this point going to find a place that does one wedding at a time. I booked Feb 2010 last august

Re: RH hell
Brentwood Country club has packages. I know it was very reasonable. My sister was married there a few years ago and everything was great! She didn't have 200+ people but I believe the room can hold as much they had half of it curtained off I think.

I think an afternoon wedding would probably suit you best at a hall with a package deal.Good Luck and stay positive!

Here's a few suggestions: I haven't been to any of them, but I'm planning on visiting a few and they do list some prices as in your price range:If you're looking outside of LI (queens, brooklyn, conneticut, etc.) FM me. I have more.
Ariana Waterfall
Chateau Lar Mer lists pp as low as $50, I'm not sure what kind of menu you would get though.
Coral House
Possibly Fox Hollow
Koenigs Caterers
Leonards possibly
The Meadow Club possibly
Meadow Edge
Mediterranean Manor
The Merrywood Cottage
Stewart Manor Country Club possibly
Timber Point Possibly
Verdi's is just on the border of your price range at their lowest
The Sterling
If you'd like a quote that I just got from WM, FM me.

Re: RH hell
There's also a buffet menu if you're okay with that. I wouldve done that if I couldnt afford a sit down. It could still be great food. Places wont tell you about this option many times- just ask if you're interested

Re: RH hell
in order to find a place for 200-250 guests with a price of 55-65pp, with specific food requirements does sound like a bit of a task.try looking into a knights of columbus type place. you may also have to settle for a buffet or an afternoon off season wedding.

Re: RH hell
Your date is in Feb...and they have amazing prices then. With all the frills, you'll prob have to have an afternoon wedding. You should tryWestbury manor... ask for Lorena or Michael - both are really nice and great to work with. Not one wedding at a time...but if you book the afternoon in their Manor room... you do have your own space inside and outside. Its not so bad.
Fox Hollow
Swan Club - events are spaced out.
Douglaston Manor - 1 at a time
DM is offering a $8995 pkg deal for up to 100 ppl from Nov 09 - Feb 10. It may be for Fri night, Saturday DAY, Sunday night though. You can def work out a great deal...you can try to customize the menu. But if you want all the frills...for that many ppl... you will end up over the budget no matter where you choose to go.

Oops, You are totally right... they do up to 2 weddings. Their BM tries to space it out and the rooms are on diff sides of the building. So he indicated that most of the time it is one wedding at a time. Not always the case though. Sorry.

Re: RH hell
Have you looked into Giorgio's? They are pricey during peak months, but they did mention they are really flexible in the winter (dec-feb). Maybe if you do a Sunday afternoon in Jan or Feb -- you might get the deal you are looking for.

Re: RH hell
Try Larkfield Manor! We picked it bc my brother got married there last year and his wedding was perfect. The place was beautiful, sister in law was the only bride there, and people were raving about the food! They REALLY worked with my FH and I on the pricing...even threw in some really nice add-ons for us! FM me for details on who to talk to....
