Any ideas for a rehearsal dinner near Chateau Briand- We will be having around 40-50 people.

try jonathan's on Jericho tpke (and the corner of Herricks road in Garden city park). It is about 5 minutes away and has great food.
Also along old country road there are a bunch of restaurants: Cafe Baci, cafe formaggio, etc

Cafe Formaggio. It is just down the block.
But how much are you looking to spend pp? There are a lot of places in the area with all different types of food and price ranges....

ahhh i don't know-- we are debating between just having it at the house after but 40 people is a lot! I wish we could do it the week prior but too many OOT at the RD

We Are doing a meet and greet at the hotel in place of RD! We are renting out the hotel conference room and using a projector to play movies of us and getting food from costco. We are also giving our guests their baskets there. We figured this would save us money and would be nice. The woman at our hotel stated that if we have alot of blocks the rental fee would be waved. You could always get food from a rest.

We just had my sister's shower at Jonathan's this past weekend (review coming soon), the food there is amazing.
If you're looking for a little less casual than that, the Frantoni's right down the Meadowbrook on Hempstead Turnpike has a back area that holds about 40 people. It's extremely affordable, they're very flexible with the menu options, etc. It's a brand new restaurant for them, so it's very clean and nice looking.

Baci is very good, also if you want, you can even probably do a RH in the hotel right next door to CB. This might be easiest especially for your OOT guests if they are staying there...

cafe formaggio is supposed to be really good..i second that place..n it is literally down the block from you guys! bertucci's is also a few mins away they have a private room you could use as well.....and baci is nice too with great food im not sure if they have a private roomm though
