Ive seen RH's do it differently so will depend. But the way I had it done was I gave a down payment when I booked, they dont ask a lot. Then they took my balance and the amount of time until my wedding to figure out how much i would have to say before the wedding. They wanted to make the plans so that up until a bit before the wedding I paid off 50% and then 2 weeks before i paid off the last 50%. At first i had payments every three months, then every 2 months. And like i said just before, then 2 weeks before paid off the last 50%

When we booked our RH, we made our deposit and were expected to make a payment 2 mos later, then another 2 mos after that, and then the final payment a week prior to the wedding. We ended up doing things a little differently cuz we just sent them large chunks of money when it was available so as to keep knocking the total down, which I'd advise if you can do that.

first deposit; 3 months later; 3 months later; 3 months before 1/2 was due, and final payment is two weeks before.

This is simlilar to us. We had to give a deposit when we booked in may of last year. We than did not have to make a payment until Jan. and we have been paying a little bit every month since then. If you could do it that wya I think it makes it easier, I just wish we thought to star paying sooner than Jan., but it will all work out in the end.

I had 1st down payment, 1 a month later and then the 3rd was 6 months before the wedding and the other is due right before the wedding. Nicely spaced out for me

I wrote above but it was 50%. I had to pay off the other 50% from the time i booked up until about 2 months before the wedding. I think i had about 8 payments throughout the time we were engaged.

The way my RH worked it was a small deposit upon contract, a slightly larger payment 3 months after signing, 30% of total estimated bill 8 months prior, and balance due 10 days prior. Each payment is more than the one previous in my case

i would say it def varies...
ours is 1/3, 1/3, and 1/3.
so we had to guarantee a certain # of people then based on that number times the amount per plate is the total... then we had to give 1/3 of that for the down payment, then the next 1/3 is due a month before, then the final 1/3 is due the week of the wedding.

My payments were few and far between. I think they asked for a deposit when we booked then MAYBE 2 more payments... like 6 months or more apart.... then like 2 weeks before the wedding they ask for the rest of it. Since the figures were so small for each payment and the dep... that last payment would be HUGE! We actually are freaks and so we doubled each payment amount they asked for and added 2 extra ones in there... so we wouldn't have to pay so much off at the end like that. We also have other reasons for doing such.

our RH only required a $2500 deposit. nothing was due until the day or 2 before. You can make payments if you want to, but it was not mandatory. it was really a big help, to not have to worry about making a payment if you were short some months....

it depends on the RH. we left a deposit the day we booked the hall, then a month after we took a larger deposit. we will pay off another large amount in another 6 months and then finish off right before the wedding. the RH really didn't give us a set payment schedule, which I love.
we were told we could work out monthly payments, but we chose to pay in larger increments.

i was doing monthly payment plans...
a large amount here...not so large there..
i only have 4000$ left to pay off...
but that will be a day of payment once i have the total head count.

We pay every 3 months with the final payment due 2 weeks before the date of the wedding. But every hall does it differently.
