RH Question

FH and I going to look at a RH on Saturday! Our first one!!

What are the common questions we should be asking at our appointment??? or do we just see if we like it and then go back with questions another time??

Mostly you want to get the basics out of the way such as the amount of people, looking at which space suits your function the best, and of course prices!

Most places realize that you're shopping around so they may give you unofficial prices (because remember, EVERYTHING is negotiable). A lot of places even give away dvd's and cd's with footage of weddings that were held there. Whatever you do, don't let the experience overwhelm you. If you forget to ask a question you could always email or call them back.

Most importantly, trust you gut feeling and first impressions!

I asked probably about 30 questions. I had everything covered, I was probably a little obnoxious.

Like, stine again... I had more than one Banquet Manager look at me and say 'Wow, that's one impressive list of questions' and they probably gave an eye roll when I wasn't looking!

But hey, it helped me pick my RH and with contract negotiations... so, whatever... let them think I'm a little obnoxious!

exactly - that's how to get exactly what you want, where you want it, when you want it.

You had to see the reaction I got when I did my hall drop off. I had every single item inventoried - WITH pictures - and a complete description of where I wanted it. I'm sure they were rolling their eyes and talking about me as soon as I left, but whatever - efffff them. My wedding was exactly how I wanted it. A little tip from a beentheredonethat bride - no one wants to see you unhappy, so chances are if you're crying, they'll 'make it better'. hahahaha. Yaaaay free chair covers.
