RH RANT

Was so upset today. FH & I had an appointment to see a RH at 12:30. We got there at 12:00 (we had an apt at 10:00 so we went there, ate, then headed to this RH) and there was NO ONE THERE! It's behind a gate that they have to open from the inside, so we couldn't even go into the parking lot. We waited until 12:40 and no one ever showed up, so we left. This is the second RH we've had a bad experience with, and it happens to be the sister RH of the first bad experience. Oh well, I guess it's their loss because it made FH & I realize where we really wanted to book. Hopefully I will be an official 2013 bride in less than a week!

That's terrible! I understand your frustration & I'd not at all be interested in booking with them after not one, but two bad experiences. Atleast you found out this early that you wouldn't want to work with them, instead of after you booked.

I hope you find YOUR place soon!

UGH! I had a VERY similar experience with the second place we wanted to go look. Drove alllllll the way down in Massapequa, walked in, and no one greeted us, said hi, nothing. My parents, FH and I looked around for 15 minutes and then when we finally agreed to go back to FH and give them a deposit, THEN someone came out and tried to sweet talk us. nuh uh.

Even though it sucks that you wasted your time, consider it a blessing. Instead of having to take 5 or 6 RHs into consideration, you already know you can just cross these off!

Yea we looked at 7 places and decided not to even look at the last 2 we had planned. Called the one I was in love with (it was the 2nd place we looked at) to schedule a tasting, and they are holding our date for us. I plan on booking the night of our tasting (next Saturday). We booked the church today. Everything is finally starting to feel real!
