I booked my RH last night, with a 2 week refund window and am having buyers remorse. Maybe I did not get to look at enough places, i went to 4.
So, I need some opinions on a few places: Especially price and atmosphere for a ceremony there
Atlantis Marine World North Ritz Club Woodbury CC Swan Club
Thanks

Re: RH remorse
Take it from someone who has had buyers remorse from basically every decision she has made thus far except saying yes when he proposed lol. Give it a few days and let the huge idea settle in your mind that you booked your wedding and then if you still feel the same way cancel and start looking at other halls again. Be prepared to feel this way about almost everything! LOL

NRC!!!!
I'm biased but honestly i've heard amazing things about it and the service so far has been incredible. They start at $90pp, depending on the season/month
Its one wedding at a time, its intimate and AMAZING food!!

Re: RH remorse
I looked at 14 places. (yes,I am nuts) I fell in love with Flowerfields, but was way too expensive for the amount of people I am going to have. I finally found Giorgio's and booked a few days later.

Re: RH remorse
I booked Giorgio's as well. I only looked at maybe 4 to five places. Giogio's was the second place I saw and wanted to book it immediately. FH wanted to look a little more to make sure we didn't miss something. But at the time Giorgio's only had a couple of dates left and he told us we needed to move quickly if we wanted summer 2009. But you'll know when you have found the place!
Good Luck!!

I don'r want to persuade you, especially if you booked one of the places I wouldn't recommend. My friend got married at one of them and a lot of guests were very unhappy and disappointed. On the other hand, I heard the others are great. We personally checked out a couple of them ourselves. Best wishes!!!!

Re: RH remorse
I am a neurotic psycho...I went to look at like 4 halls before I walked into Chateau Briand...and once I walked in I knew I loved it...However I am obsessed with knowing that I got the best price and a place that I am 100% thrilled with. So even to this day I go to hallls, check them out see what they would charge me and get an idea of what is out there...and everytime I compare them to my hall and love it that much more....

Re: RH remorse
I am booked at the Woodbury CC. I loved it there. I had a huge problem with my first reception hall and ended up canceling there and losing my deposit (dont ask, they will not give it back even though i canceled 18 months in advance on a hoiday weekend).
Anyway,.....I loved the Woodbury, besides the fact they have been there forever, everyone loves the food and how can you not love the outside?
Andrew is the best, he works with you and really helps with ideas. They matched the price as the other RH which was between 100-115 +
I think you should do what you feel is right, if you are second guessing who cares, go make sure you found the right place. I am a previous canceler and i am happy about it :)

Re: RH remorse
awww
where did u book???
i looked at swan club and north ritz, and i liked them both very much...i just got a better deal somewhere else...
i think its normal to have remorse only because it is a huge decision, especially financially. but as long as you really love the place, you should be fine!

Re: RH remorse
we went to 11 places and Swan Club was the last one ... Week after we went back to try food and booked it right away. There is many beautiful places in LI, but SC was perfect for us.
