I've been looking around at a bunch of places, but I still haven't found one I REALLY love. The Winter Garden Pavilion at Fox Hollow is great, but the dance floor is WAY too small for our families who love to dance, and I'm not crazy about the Briar Fox room (not rustic enough, I guess?) Does anyone know of a place with a similar look/feel and price?
I'm also in love with the look of Raphael Vineyards but it would be a four hour drive for my family in PA and a 1 hour 45 min. drive from our ceremony church, so I'd like something not as far out on the island.
I'm booked at the Crest Hollow. It's 2 minutes away from the Fox Hollow. You may want to check that out. All the rooms have huge dancefloors.
The runner up for us was the Watermill but that's in Suffolk County. Not sure if it's too far for you.

I've never actually been to Fox Hollow but from what I have seen/heard, I'd say Westbury Manor prob has a similiar feel

Re: RH similar to Fox Hollow?
I would suggest Douglaston Manor for that feel or Old Field Club has a great room that may appeal to you. Westbury Manor is associated with FH, so you can check them out.

IMO I think Westbury Manor has a similiar style to Fox Hollow.

Re: RH similar to Fox Hollow?
have you seen their garden terrace room in Fox Hollow? It's bigger than the rest and not as 'rustic' as the colonial briar room. You can always ask to see that one...they never even showed me their third room! Good luck!!

I agree with the other girls recommending Westbury Manor. My reception is in the WGP at the Fox Hollow and had the same concerns but I am only have a 100 pp max. Really keeping my fingers crossed for 95

Re: RH similar to Fox Hollow?
So I ended up just booking Fox Hollow anyway, haha. I LOVE the WGP and I figure we'll make it work it whatever way we need to. I can fit the people sitting no problem, it's just the dance floor I was a little worried about. But it's the room I want and we're just going for it! haha
Thanks for all the suggestions though! My future sister-in-law is actually getting married at Westbury Manor, so I'll be there plenty in February.
