Are you guys using an envelope to mail them out or a box. I am trying to decide what to do. I am concerned the buckle will go through the envelope. What are you girls using? TIA
I am going out to dinner soon and i'll be back later but any help will be much appreciated

I would do the boxes- I wouldn't trust the envelopes.

the only reason i dont want to do the boxes is because of the postage but i dont want the rhinestone buckle to rip through the envelope....im sure there has to be some kind of a heavy duty envelope right? and like someone else said doing it so they dont go through the machine? i dont know though....it would suck if your guests got torn invitations in the mail - especially after all that hard work....
another LIW bride did the rhinestone buckle with envelopes but she did it parcel service and that cost her 1.30 to do she said. So in the end it costs close to what it does to mail a box invitation. If its in an envelope it goes through a machine unless you do parcel service. And i didnt ask her but not sure if that $1.30 includes the postage but i think it probably does

The only problem that I am having is that my invites are square 8 x8 and i am having a hard time finding these sizes
I am also doing 8x8 rhinestoned invites in boxes and they have been such a pain! Definitely put the time into finding an appropriate box so you don't deal with the problem I am currently having. I had someone make my invites (this woman does them for a living from her home). Well it was the first time that she did boxed invitations, and I really don't think she put much thought into the boxes she ordered. I really wish I had done more research and ordered the boxes myself. She ordered these almost 1 1/2 inch deep white boxes that I have been assembling myself (put each top and bottom together)... so that has taken SO MUCH time. Then I had to go and buy fabric and padding to line each box so that the invite doesn't look stupid in this very deep box! Basically this has turned into the HUGEST project and it is all I do every single night. Plus we had to order extra outside boxes because the one she ordered is so flimsy. SO definitely, definitely order the right box!
awwww i am sorry that S*CKS but im sure they came out beautiful. Yeah luckily the box i bought from fetpak came with the cotton foam so it had padding
