I was thinking of making table numbers out of ivory card stock and Blue Rhinestones. I was going to trace each number with a pencil and then fill in the entire number with the rhinestones. My questions are: 1. Has anyone ever done something similar? 2. Do you think this is a good idea or too much work? 3. I have been looking for Rhinestones in bulk- (approx. 8-10 gross) and I want them about 4 or 5 mm in size. Where can I get these?!

i think it's a beautiful idea but it will definetly be tedious attatching all the rhinestones so be ready to work!

these were mine - I bought them off eBay from jbrazzi. They were gorgeous. I have #1-19. Happy to sell them to you & save you the trouble since they are just sitting in a box.
Sounds like a lot of work..but if its what you want then its worth it.. I just got sapphire and light sapphire rhinestones from rhinestoneshop.com. I've been looking for the best deal and they are the cheapest I found for the best quality. Good luck. Post those pics when you're done so we admire you work!

I have the same table numbers but with clear crystals. I bought them form the same ebay seller. She is no longer making them so if you like them your better off buying them from her.

Unless you get these and put it on a nice card stock and frame it or whatever u want to do... I think its way too much work, unless you have time and patience go for it!

I used rhinestones to make my engagement party invitations and they were smaller 3mm in size. They were ok to work with just make sure that you have tweezers so that you can pick them up easily and plenty of paitence!! I think they will come out really good if you are willing to put the energy in...And I bought all of the rhinestones at Michaels craft stores...they are prob cheaper online though

like evryone said, it's going to take a lot of work. i really wanted to do them but i had absolutely no time. i think they look sooo pretty though and would've definitely done them if did have the time

Lol I noticed a 'someone' is giving my advice Right SW Yes
The Table cards are easy breezy compare to doing your own place cards.
I did both. I would not recommend tracing the letters I would print them out on paper from the font you like than just glue the stones on using 5mm or larger. They will cover nicely and not show the black ink. Alternating sizes with Rhinestones will also work nicely .
If you have plenty of time start this project right away so it is OUT Of the way.
