Rhinestones Turning Black

Rhinestones Turning Black

Reposting from BHB - i need to know what to say to this place when I call...so i need help...

I bought my dress off the rack probably in March/April... It's in the contract that it will be cleaned, pressed, etc when it gets altered (it's WAY too big).

My issue is that the thingies holding the rhinestones on used to be a pretty silver and they have now oxidized and turned black.

I'm going to call the dress place today but wanted to know if i have any sort of leg to stand on with them...

Thoughts??

Yes - i have it all - it's bought from Bridaltown in PA.. Their service to now has been wonderful, but i've also not had a problem....

ok. so you haven't gotten it altered yet? Maybe they will be able to fix those rhinestone holdings then maybe. I would think a good seamstress would be able to replace those backings. Give them a call. have your receipt in hand & see if you can talk to someone who helped you well in the past!
