Ribbon Wand Question

For girls who have made their own ribbon wands, How long is your ribbon?

Are you sure? I think that is way too long. We started doing ours and they are 2.5 ft. long and the reason I'm asking the question is we thought that was a little too long.

Anyone else?

Girls.. I have pics of my ribbon wands in my album and review...

I want to say the dowels were 12 inches so I **think** we cut the ribbon to 30 inch and folded it in half on the top of the dowel.. I did not really get nuts about the lengths bc it looks good if the ribbons are a little off on the ends.

honestly lol I was going to make them to but I realized how much time it was going to take me.. so I just decided to order them through a site..
there are some sites ( in case you girls want to buy them) a dozen for $6 .. i figured after all the ribbon i buy the dowels and that stuff it might come out cheaper to just buy them..
