For any late nighter - WE Tv IS airing a show now - Rich Bride, Poor Bride.

Comparing a rich bride versus and poor bride and comparing whose wedding turns out better.

Thought you guys might like to watch it!!

LOL, I agree. I can't watch that show. My Mom watched it and started crying 'I'm sorry I can't give you a $500,000 wedding.' She is officially baned from WE and Oxygen network!!!

She is NUTTY!!! She is giving me a very substantial amount of money, but for some reason, she feels like she is not doing enough. Meanwhile, I tell her every day that I am getting my dream wedding!!! I don't know why she is so self conscious, but I am blaming it all on Platinum Weddings!!!!!!!!!

Also, this show gives an interesting insight into how open bar is optional in other places!

It's always awesome to hear a mom wanting to give her daughter all - i understand where she is coming from - she wants the best for you. you have a great mom

but yeh no Platinum Wedding for your mom!! She might go crazy and take a mortgage out on the house just to match a platinum wedding.

see what happens when im not on the boards.. i miss these things.. lol. We hadda go to FFILs house before so i guess i wouldn't of got home in time to see it anyway. Sounds like a cool show though.

One of my friends is almost having a platinum wedding...

My mom said to me: 'I'm so glad you set a budget & had your priorities'

I did not have a 'poor bride' wedding....but I did go cheap on certain things...
