who else had a nightmare comming in to work this morining.

Are you on the Babylon branch? I was ready to walk out the door when I heard all trains were suspended. So I drove. I got to work at 9:30..... an hour and 1/2 after I should've been here.

I heard about the LIRR on my way to work. I drive so I wasn't affected. That really stinks!! Sorry you had a rough commute this morning!

Not a fire, I saw on the news this morning that there was a pedestrian collision. Some got hit by the train and that's why service was suspended.

I live in BKLYN, i was in copiague at fh house last night so i had to take the LIRR in this mornig before we left the house this mornign fh mom says that all service was susspended.. i was like CRAPPP..
FH had to drive me to long beach to take that line and i missed the 8:14 train so i had to wait till 8:44 and that was the train to flatbush....

A pedestrian did get killed there this morning. FH takes that line and didn't get to work until 9:45 either. From what Newsday reported, it happened at like 5am...*****
