Took a deep breath and mentally said 'here we go' while trying VERY hard to wipe the HUGE cheese grin off my face so I didnt look like a doofy clown in the pics
What about you..

Re: Right before walking down the aisle I....
My father grabbed my hand and looked me in the eyes and said 'Are you ready to do this?' I was trying so hard to not cry and have tears running down my face and smudging my make-up, so I just nodded my head, grabbed his hand and squeezed it tightly. We both held each other that way the entire way down the aisle while he cried and I plastered a smile across my face to not start crying. It was one of the hardest emotional episodes I've ever lived through!

Re: Right before walking down the aisle I....
stood at the doors looking and smiling at all of the people who had made it to church. I was SO happy and touched that so many people had made it on a Fri afternoon.
I took it all in and it was one of the best moments of the day.

Re: Right before walking down the aisle I....
....had the big emotional break in the car with my dad... seeing all the cars coming into church and beeping their horns and all the excitement -- i just lost it... it was finally ME in that Rolls....
as my dad and I walked into the church the first thing I saw was DH's Air Force Buddies... and their Saber& sword Arch... and everyone was standing.... so I felt amazing... and my dad and I looked at each other and said ' LETS DO THIS!!!'

Re: Right before walking down the aisle I....
I was REALLY nervous, but the second I saw Dean everyone around me melted away & I was thinking how much I loved him & how excited I was to marry him.

Re: Right before walking down the aisle I....
I was like let's get this show on the road!!! I was so nervous and it seemed like an eternity that I was waiting outside (my church does not have a vestibule so i came in from the outside when I made my grand entrance). When the doors finally opened I was relieved...until I saw DH bawling at the end of the aisle. The rest is a bit of a blur.

Re: Right before walking down the aisle I....
was so eager to just get started. and i was trying not to cry about my grandpa not being there to walk me down the aisle
Then I heard the maitre D say how pretty I looked.
Once my song started I was okay though

Re: Right before walking down the aisle I....
got so nervous because we were late and told my DOC Laura (LOVE her!!!) that I was not going to light the candle for my dad.
We set up a candle to light for him right before we walked down the aisle and I didn't want to do it the minute before the doors opened.
Its ok....becuase I just know he was there with me regardless.

I kept telling myself to remember to look at everyone I wanted to see..like my grandma, friends..I wanted to take it all in! Unfortunately I totally forgot to look at DH until we were right there!

Re: Right before walking down the aisle I....
I said to my dad, 'ready'? We nodded yes to eachother. Then I smiled and tried my best not to trip or cry. As I walked, I looked around at the guests and everything around me. I wanted to remember everything.
