Where did you girls go to get your ring appraised? What is it insured through?

i dont know. FH insured it before he gave it to me. i think its something to do with the homeowners ins we have

FH has paperwork that he gave me post ring. I sent it to my insurance, and they added it as a rider policy to my renter's insurance.
He got the appraisal value form the jeweler when he purchased it.

Our jeweler is a family friend so he had it appraised for us. FH insured my ring under his homeowner's insurance.

FH had the ring appraised through the jeweler he bought it from. I took the paper to State Farm to have it insured. I could not put it on my homeowner's insurance (I believe because the appraisal value was quite high) and had to pay for a personal articles policy.

You might want to do some research into the pros and cons of insuring through your homeowner's insurance vs. getting a personal articles policy. There's a lot of info online to help you make your decision.

FH insured it through our renter's insurance... I think he just submitted the paperwork he received from Tiffany's...

We insured it through Jewelers Mutual Insurance. My ring was appraised when my FH bought it, at Good Old Gold. You could try them.

My rings are insured through Jewelers Mutual too. We got it appraised at a local jeweler, but that's not gonna help much since I live upstate.
