Ring Appraisers in NYC

Can anyone recommend their engagement ring appraisers in NYC? I went to EGL in the Diamond District and I got low balled. I want a second opinion.

Macy's Herald Square does great jewelry appraisals. You sit with the appraiser while he/she examines the jewelry, as it should always be.
You pay a percentage of the appraised value.

I just came back from seeing Mark Bunda and he appraised my ring at a little over than what my fiance paid. I totally recommend him.
Do not go to David Bidwell at EGL on 48th Street, he appraised my ring for $3,000 less than what my fiance paid.
