Ring bearer

Are people giving their ring bearer their actual wedding rings? I know you can buy the pillow with fake ones attached, and I'm kinda nervous about putting a 7 year old in charge of carrying them. But it might be silly, but I'd feel bad giving him fake rings because I think he'd feel so much more important with the real ones. Its not a long walk so I think its ok, but I'm torn. (I have a DOC who can keep an eye on them).

Being a bride has made me obsess over the smallest things. I was going back and forth about this all day yesterday. This is the only place I feel like I can say this without looking like a crazy person. Lol.

My sister had a 3 year old carry the rings. They were attached to the pillow with a ribbon made into a bow and the best man grabbed them from the pillow.
The ring bearer will get the pillow as he is about to start walking down the aisle. You can trust him.

I intend on giving my Nephew who will be 6 the real rings and have them tied to the pillow. I feel confident that he will be OK. Plus there are GM to keep an eye out.

Yea I agree with the other girls. If you tie the real rings to the pillow he should be ok with them. But if you dont feel comfortable he will feel just as Important with fake ones im sure.
