Ring bearers that dont bear rings

Is anyone having a RB that is not carrying the RB pillow? It just seems like a waste to me and on top of it I dont feel comfortable with them carrying the rings. Does anyone have their RB just walking down the aisle? Is that stupid?

My RB will be holding imitation rings but BM will be holding the real thing

I'm not having ring bearer hold pillow either! He will escort the fg down the aisle...its another expense that I just don't want to have.

I have three ringbearers. My youngest nephew will be holding a pillow with fake rings. My two older nephews will be carrying a two sided wooden sign that says :Here comes the Bride. The other side says just married

I am not have our ring bearer carry our rings. We will be having a sign made that reads 'here comes the bride.

the boys carried pillows, but no rings.. they had flowers sewn into the pillows where the ring would traditionally go.

Ours will not have the real rings. I'm making the 'pillow' myself, a square covered in either moss or button mums. I think it will look cute, even if they don't have the real rings. The will want to do something, one ring bearer is already upset his sister is getting to drop petals and gets a basket. So yeah, they won't be walking together because I can see a fight happening. They are too cute!
