FH and I hate ring pillows. I don't know why... we just do. I think it's b/c I want to be able to use most of the stuff again after the wedding... So we decided we'd do a box of some sorts and have been searching high and low for the 'perfect' one.
We were at Fortunoff last night and we saw a double heart box that we thought would work, and then we both looked to the side at the same time and went 'THAT'S IT!'
We giggled that we both had the same reaction, we both went to grab it, and decided we had to have it.
Ever since we first started hanging out as friends Chinese food has been a major part of our relationship. We used to have chinese night every thursday and we still eat it at least once a week. It's very us, and very perfect and i'm super excited about it.
FH even came up with a cute idea for engraving it, we save most of our fortunes from our cookies, so from now till the week before the wedding we're going to put all the 'Love' type ones aside and when we go to have it engraved with our date we'll also pick one of the fortunes to put on it as well.

That was my idea! I thought maybe it was cheesey but I think that's what we'll do, and we'll engrave our fave on it.
I really like the idea of putting all the fortunes in the box . Besides its a wedding its supposed to be cheesy

i'm glad you like the idea... i just have no idea what I'd do with the ring pillow after the wedding... There are TON of cute boxes out there to use, that you can use every day afterwards, or even give to your ringbearer as a gift!

that is what we were originally going to do. this doesnt really go with our'theme' but we both loved it at first sight.

actually... that wasnt a cat, it was me. The damn little birdie was gonna tell you where i was! can't have that kind of back stabbing going on. not on MY watch.
