Ring chat

Do you wear your ring at the ceremony? I was told it is supposed to be worn on the right hand and switched at the ceremony? I thought you did not wear any ring? Confused anyone have some info on this?

*****************.... but... your wedding band should be worn first and then the e- ring on the left ring finger.

You either wear on ur right hand during and switch afterwards or give them both to Fh and he can place on ur hand the same time as he places ur wedding band. ( which is what I may do)

Really anymore its a matter of preference.

I know some girls that keep there e ring on the left finger....and when they say vows just place it on top of it. Some of them even permanently wear it that way. Its the style of the ring, or your preference.

Some where the e ring on the right hand...and then after the ceremony slip it back on top of the band.

Some dont wear the e ring at all and just get the band the day of.

Honestly its just preference

I meant to say right hand and switch at ceremony. Okay I think I know either not wear at all and have it presented at ceremony or wear e ring on right hand and switched.

I have to keep my ering on my left and put the wedding band on top. I plan on flipping them after the ceremony, but my ering doesnt fit on my right hand to do it the other way... lol

That's what we are going to do also.

I think it's really your preference, from what i've seen most wear it on their left hand, and either keep it there all night or switch after the band in put on their left.

hmmm...my e-ring does not fit on my right hand...I am not sure what I'll do but i am not liking the idea of having one more thing to think about.

I am all sorts of confused on this topic. I think that it depends on the type of rings you have. I can't decide if I want to wear my wedding ring seperate or not, and have no idea which finger it should go on if I do!

Re: Ring chat

I may wear it on the right finger for the cermony and put it back to the left at the reception... However the fingers on the left hand are smaller than than the right, so my e-ring does not fit my right hand right now

Re: Ring chat

I think I will let my MOH hold it and give it to me after the ceremony. I was thinking of putting it on my right hand but I don't want to see my e-ring on my right hand in any pictures.

I agree that it's all a matter of personal preference. I'm going to wear my ering on my right hand and put it back on my left after the ceremony.

Most people I know wear their e ring on their right hand during the ceremony and then put it back on the left once the wedding band is on.

I had my MOH hold my e-ring during the ceremony since it didn't fit on my right hand. Once the ceremony was over, I put it back on.
