Someone asked what size people's rings were and some of the girls thought it was rude to ask such a question...I don't know if it escalated much more than that but that was the extent of the drama I caught.

LOL I gottcha. Well, I do have to say before FH and I got engaged, I would ask my friends what carot size they had b/c I didnt know how much they cost and didn't know about sizes or what clarity and all that good stuff meant. I would ask them to explain sizes and stuff to me b/c I wanted to report back to FH so he wouldnt get cheated or anything at a jeweler.
Personally, I dont think it's rude... and if you think its rude, then you dont have to answer the post.
I hope I didnt just open up a can of worms...but just my opinion- and no Im not trying to offend anybody![]()

No offense taken here! I didn't answert the post myself but mostly because I didn't want to get involved!![]()
it wasn't really drama at all. Some people were offended, but whatever, if someone is offended about someone asking how big their ring is, they should just not answer. I don't see what the big deal is really.
I dont think you could really call it drama.... no one was getting mad or anything. Just newbie confusion over what's a post worthy topic I think!

It actually wasn't too juicy...I'm actually surprised it stayed as civil as it did. The girls who were offended stated why they were, the girls who weren't offended answered, and then there was me, who pussyfooted around the issue and resorted to self deprecating humor. I saw and responded to the post last night-It was not the first post on the'09 board about ring size there were a couple over the summer. I wish there was not so much drama lately...I thought the whole point of this sight was for us to help each other out.
