ring engravement

ring engravement

i have to decide today what to have FH's ring engraved with. what do you girls think of this?: let it be me 01/14/06. let it be me is the name of our first song. is this ok. does 'let it be me' sound nice even out of context? like if you didnt know it was the name of the song? please respond i need input! thanks!!

I think that's lovely! I also engraved our first song into my wedding band with the date.

mine says: 'more than love 11-06-05'

I think it's a great idea! I may do that too!...we are thinking out first song be 'endless love'...so that would be nice. But go for it, I think it's a great idea!

i think that sounds great! and who cares what it sounds like out of context... no one else will be seeing the inside of your Dh's ring too often!!

My mom's ring was engraved:
'Eternally Yours 5-27-56'

I am using it for my ceremony which will mark what would have been my parent's 50th anniversary. I told mom, that when one great thing ends, another begins. Engraving is lovely. I am trying to talk FH into doing it though I like the guys who have 'PUT IT BACK ON' engraved on the inside!

First thats so sweet - second i love 'put it back on'

I think let it be me is lovely and so sentimental!! I want the ring engraving but cant decide what to write in it - FH says heisn't so sentimental (even though he still has the candy cane from our first christmas we spent together when we were 16 years old) so he thinks its silly b/c he won't take it off or read it - but i would take it off to read the inside to remind me.
