Ring Help

So FH & I went to the Diamond District to buy our wedding bands... and they resized my engagement ring for me (it was a tad big)

He cleaned it... and i need to know WITH WHAT b/c my ring is SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO shiny and new...

I clean it with jewelry cleaner (sometimes boiling water and amonia... ) OBSESSIVELY and it has never had the shine it has now... even the GOLD part shines..

what is it??? Or can it only be done in stores...

they probably steamed it....

we have a cappuccino machine and we use the milk frother thingie to steam my ring -- it works wonders!

it was probably steamed....but i can tell you WINDEX does the trick!!! let it soak for about an hour, then brush it with a toothbrush in the windex as well. Rinse under cold water, let it air dry on ur finger...voila! u wont believe how much it sparkles!!!

Ive done windex and YES it does work... but there is something about the white gold part that sparkles... I've boiled my ring, stemed it, brushed etc etc...

Ive NEVER gotten THIS kind of shine... Its crazy and i need this CONCOCTION...

they probably boiled & then steamed it... do you know if they polished the gold parts?

It makes me wanna get my ring cleaned!

wow that is a great idea!!!!!!!!! im going to try that as soon as i get my cappuccino machine!

At Macy's - FH got me a jewelery cleaner much like the one they use in stores. It has the cleaning part - where you put it in with the chemical cleaner & then the steamer. I use it almost twice a week!!!!!! I'll see if I can find the link for the site!
