Re: Ring Insurance...
My ring is insured through my old car insurance company-State Farm. I dont have my car insurance with anymore, but still have my ring insured through them.

Re: Ring Insurance...
My fiance set it up when he bought the ring, he got it as a rider on his rental insurance through State Farm. I think you can get it without having renters's insurance though.

Re: Thanks MacrellaBella :-)
My ring is insured through Allstate. We got renters insurance and insured the ring at the same time.
It costs alot but its well worth it.
(costs depends on your appraised amount).

Re: Ring Insurance...
Ring insurance (personal items policy) and renters insurance are both through State Farm. I had to get a personal items policy, as renters would not even come close to covering the price of the e-ring. Both cost about $100 a year, very well worth it IMO.

I insured my ring under my parents Homeowners insurance. And once we move into our apartment I am getting renters insurance to cover my ring.

Re: Ring Insurance...
I have Jewlers Mutual. The person my FH bought my ring from recommended them. He is a diamond dealer in the diamond district and also a college friend of my FH so we trusted his opinion.

Re: Ring Insurance...
I added my ring to my home owners insurance. I have a 'ridder' which means that even if my ring is lost on the subway it will be replaced for full value.I highly recommend getting full insurance on your ring(s). I also keep 'ridders' on some of my other jewerly. Most people think their home owners cover stuff like that but there are jewerly limits on policies and normally they are very low. So don't assume you have coverage, call and confirm in writing.
