Ring is in...Update at Bottom

My (real) ring came in today...keep your fingers crossed for me that no monkey business goes on this time!!!

FH is going to pick it up tomorrow during lunch, and is going to scrutinize that thing like nobody's business. I'm not even going with him, obviously I can't, but he's just going to have them put it on the stick to see what size it is, and if it needs further sizing, we'll just bring it elsewhere...I just want it in our possession!

Wishing you the best! Did they say why the ring came in so quickly this time as opposed to the last time? If it is wrong I would totally go Bridezilla (or in his case Groomzilla) on them!

No, they didn't say...it was about the same time difference, this time a little quicker, but this time was legitimate. We had verified with the manufacturer that the original order was never placed with them...so whatever games went on went on. This time we know for certain that an order was placed for the right model number, in the right size, on the right date, in the right color...the manufacturer told us, so we're assuming that this time we'll get the right ring, why else go through the trouble of ordering the right one if we're not going to get it? I really hope that this garbage does not get pulled on any other brides that maybe might not think to look for these things

OK, so FH just called me...it appears to be the correct ring now. It has the right amount of stones, the right channel design, had an actual label on the ring with the correct size and item number, FELT heavier than the last one, stones appeared to be the proper specs...was engraved inside with the Benchmark 14k and logo inside...the ONLY thing that was a little off is that FH said that the font of the engraving seemed a little different than his...so we're not 100% if there's a natural variation, but I'm going to confirm that. We're still definitely going to get it appraised, and probably needs to be made slightly larger since it was only available in whole or half sizes, and I'm a 4.75 and this is a 4.5...but it gives us an excuse to go get it sized and appraised elsewhere.

I can't wait to see it myself, I won't get to see it until tomorrow ahhhh.
