ring on other hand

Aren't you supposed to move your engagement ring over to your right hand before the ceremony so that you can put your wedding ring on during? Then you can move your engagement ring back over. Maybe someone can wear the ring your dad gave to you for you during the ceremony (your mom or MOH) and then when your wedding ring and engagement ring are on the same hand you can put your dad's ring on the right??

I'm wearing my grandmothers wedding band on my right hand - as I always do. I can wear my e-ring on the same finger - I don't see why you couldn't either. It's only for the ceremony...

My friend wore a claddagh ring on her right hand (I wore it until after the ceremony and then gave it to her) it didnt take away from her wedding ring. The only thing I didnt like was that in the picture she used for TYs she and her husband were toasting and she was using her right hand, so you saw the claddagh ring instead.

I'll be moving my e-ring to the right hand and more than likely not wearing any other rings. Does the ring your dad gave you fit another finger?

I am wearing an opal and diamond ring my aunt gave me on my right hand. I am just going to either wear my e-ring with it or have my sister wear it until after the ceremony. I always wear a lot of jewelry and couldn't imagine not having anything on my right side...

I think you should wear the ring your dad gave you along with your e-ring, or have someone else wear your dad's ring until the reception.
