This question may seem silly but, how is everyone taking pictures of their ring? Mine does not photograph at all...It looks like a big light blob...Is there a knack to it?

Re: Ring Picture
mine are pretty clear, look in my album.
your digital camera should have a function called macro zoom. usually it is a flower symbol -- my camera has a tulip. it zooms in very close but you have to keep your camera very still. it works best in good lighting, particularly outside, by a window or under a light.
you will want to take a couple because when you start off a lot will come out blurry if they arent zoomed properly.
here are some closeups i have taken in macro zoom:
I have a Canon Powershot, but I think the tulip thing is pretty common?

Re: Ring Picture
Almost all digital cameras have the macro function (tulip icon) take the pictue outside or in a well lit area so you dont have to use the flash, then zoom in or out with the macro function until its clear

Re: Ring Picture
most cameras now have a focus function. you lightly hold down the 'take picture' button to focus, once clear, hit the button hard to take the picture. I have the Casio Excelim. I have some pics in my album.
