Ring poll-with pix-please help...

Here is a picture of my engagement ring...
We ordered and put on lay-away a five point (one carat) diamond band to go with it...The stones are round to match my e-ring center stone...

Now...I have been looking into the chevron rings (or 'the ones with the dip' as I have been calling them)

Our jeweler can get two of the chevron's (to wear on both sides of my e-ring) weighing 1/2 carat each-total of one carat...And it would cost the same as the five point diamond band that we originally ordered...

What do you guys think?????

Do you have a pic of the chevrons? I have no idea what it looks like.

If a chevron is what I am thinking of, definitely get the regular band... You can never wear it on the other hand and IMO, they aren't very nice anyway...

Here's a pic of a chevron ring...

I would get two of them...And they'd be bigger than the one pictured here...This is 1/6 ct and mine would be 1/2 each.

This is sort of like the one we have on lay-away...But it's bigger and more tapered on the edges...

I personally like the chevron thingie better BUT I would get the band. Only because you may not always wear your engagement ring in the future.
