i have a princess cut engagement ring and it has elongated bagettes on each side. i didn't know what kind of band to get. I didn' t want a channel setting and I didn't like how a princess cut band in a prong setting looked like. I decided on a round stoned band. it has round stones in a prong setting going all the way around. do you think the two rings will look funny together? and if you have a princess cut ring what band did you get? pics??

I have a square cut ring with long baguettes on each side. I have been freaking about the same thing and I tried on a bunch of bands. I have to say that the band that looked best was a channel ring with princess cut diamonds because the bars that separate the bagueets from the diamond are platinum so they look ok with the channel cut ring. did you go to like Fortunoff and try on all their bands??? why don't u like channel?

I have a princess and my band actually has round diamonds, but they are set in square settings. So they look square. Sorry I don't have pic.

i was having the same problem, my engagement ring is a square emerald with trapezoids on the side and my wedding band is round diamonds, prong setting, all the way around. I wouldnt call it 'matchy' but i like it.. and ive gotten a lot of compliments.
