So, I am trying to figure out wedding bands and was wondering what you girls think of custom bands that would match the shape of the ring vs bands that don't match. My ring def has a distinct shape and I think it might look funny with a band but then I think a matching shape might look too 'matchy' whadya think? I have pics of my ring in album but can't seem to repost here. .

Re: ring question
first let me say that yuor ring is gorgeous! now i will tell you my opinion. Fh ordered my band to be the exact same band as what is on my e-ring (in my album as well). I did this because i wanted it to match exactly since i plan on wearing them together and want them to be flush. The reasoning is because i am a jewelry freak. over the past 4 years that i have been with fh has have given me so many gorgeous rings..(I have all different colored stones that i like to coordinate with what i wear..lol) so i didnt want to loose my right hand to my e-ring. I know some girls buy a different wedding band and wear it on their left hand, therefore putting the ering on their right...this was not an option for me as it would stop me from wearing all the aother beautiful pieces that i have...

I have a ring that is somewhat similar to yours and I have ordered a custom band to go with it but I am also going to get an eternity band for times when I just want to wear my band and not my ering

Your ring is unique and i think that you should not match them. It will take away from your e-ring. . . . . I'm not going to match mine. My ring has detail all around and i will lose that with a matching band
