does the best man hold both rings/does he hand them to the bride when she puts it on the groom?how does that exchange work?

I know BM holds the rings.. I THINKhe gives them to the priest.. .. I'm not sure...

in our case, bestman holds FH's ring for me, MOH holds the ring i got for FH. Hope that makes sense! that's how our priest told us to do it.

the ring bearer fakes it now, the BM has them the whole time.....usually ring bearer pillows have fake plastic rings tied to them.....when you get to the ring exchange the priest will hold out a little tray for the BM to place the rings on, and then the bride and groom take each others rings and do the whole thing
