Ring Size
I am very unhappy with my ring size. It's way too big when it's on, but if I size it any smaller I won't be able to get it over my knuckle. I have a ring guard on now, but it doesn't seem to be helping. Any suggestions?

do you by an chance crack your knuckles? the only reason i ask is that someone once told me that if you crack your knuckes they get a little bigger and your rings wont fit properly..i thought it was an old wives tale... you should go see your jewler.. they should be able to offer you a solution
No, I don't crack my knuckles. I have heard that also. My jeweler told me to use the ring guard. Maybe I'll go to a different jeweler for better advice. thanks!
Ask your jeweler about shots. They are little balls of metal that they put on the inside of the band that is supposed to help stabilize the ring and keep it from spinning. Just be very firm with them about the appearance - when we got my FH's ring at first they tried to size it with shots and they ended up looking like little frankenstein neck bolts that were uncomfortable (but in this case the ring was way to big for him, the store was being lazy about ordering a new ring).
I had the same problem with my ring. I just had the jeweler put two little balls on the inside of the band. Now it doesn't spin around and fits much better. You can't even feel them - they are tiny.
I have the same problem with my ring. Who is your jeweler? I am looking for someone on Long Island. Also, how was your visit with Dalsimer and the florists this weekend? I went to see Sandford studio the photographer, who is on bnai shalom's house list. He was ok, I am still looking
