Ringbearer and rings

Are you having your ringbearer carry your real rings or will you have him carry fake rings. As the date gets closer, I'm a little scared the kid will lose them somehow!

When my son was a ring bearer a few years ago, he carried fake rings on the pillow and the best man had the real rings with him.

I think this is done at most weddings. I know for sure our 3 year old ring bearer won't be carrying our rings.

We're giving the ringboy the ring just before he walks during the ceremony. If I'll just make him walk with the pillow,I might as well not have a ring bearer at all.

I did hear a horror story about a ring bearer tripping and the ring falling off the pillow into a vent. So I'm definitely not giving him the real rings! Best man will carry them

No he is way too young. His pillow will have fake rings I got at Dollar Tree.

omg that would be horrible, I think i'll have him carry the real ones (securely tied to the pillow ) and have him hand it off to the appropriate person.
