Rings on honeymoon

I have been thinking, that it might be better to not wear our rings on the honeymoon. As much as I will want to wera them and will be so sad to take them off after only being married for 2 days, I have just heard do many horror stories about rings being lost in the ocean, pool, beach etc. We are goin on a cruise and will be spending a lot of time on the beach and by the pool. I know you can put them in a sfe, but that still makes me nervous. What do you ladies think?

I think I am goin to wear mine.

last time I went on vaca I wore my ering and had no problems. Just bring the box. But make sure the hotel has a safe. When we went swimming, I put the ring in there.

I say bring it

I bought a fake ring before we went on our HM. I didn't feel comfortable having my ring on a cruise and in a foreign country. When we went to Disney I wore my real rings.

we brought our wedding bands - i left my ering at home - DH brought his watch which i was nervous about but since it was a wedding present i understood why he wanted to bring it....we kept everything in the safe during the day while we were out

Us too! DH made sure that we put our stuff in the safe when heading out to the beach/pool/excursions, but before we left for dinner we would always wear it.

im going to wear mine...i just dont thik i can take the off right away..id miss it lol...but in saying that if u r that nervous i say leave em home..get the fake ones ...u dont want to be worried on ur hm..if it gives u some peace leave em home..jmo

First, make sure they are insured.

I wore my e-ring on a cruise a few months ago and it was fine. BUT, I only really wore it to dinner and at night. (Literally, by the end of the cruise, I missed seeing my ring in daylight!). I would never chance wearing my ring in the pool or the ocean...or out on an island or excursion. I just left it locked in the safe during that time. But it was fine to wear to dinner and the shows at night.

i wore mine the whole time....in the ocean, in the pool, out to dinner, on a hike, during a massage. when we were first engaged i was worried about losing my ering in the ocean, but in the end i decided i was being silly. if the rings fit you properly, they aren't going to just slide off your finger in the water.

I am wearing mine and I will put them in the safe when we go swimming...it will prob be a hassle but there is no way I am leaving my rings behind!

i left my ring home when i went jamacia and was more nervous bc i thought i lost it (bc i am so used to the feleling) i swore never again will I leave it home ....thats what insurance is for
