Rings tonight

Gennaro called, and the band that matches my e-ring is in the store.

So excited to go tonight and see if I like it!

How many of you girls are getting a fancy ring and a plain one?

If I don't like the way this one matches, that might just happen. My E-ring is very ornate so I want the wedding band to be something simple, and I worry it might have too much detail to match.

I wanted a sapphire engag. ring, every jewerly store looked at me like I was crazy 3 years ago, now they are all over. So I wanted a princess diamond and white gold band ring.

I wanted a VERY plain one, but when my FH saw the matching on to my Ering, he wouldn't let me look at anything else! Turns out I love it, so it worked out :)

what is the reasoning for getting two bands? i've never heard of anyone doing this so i am curious to find out if this is something i should consider!

My FH along with my two daughters picked out an emerald ring (green) that is in a traditional setting so I'll be moving my e-ring to my right hand and getting an anniversary type band to use as my wedding band.

I guess I always thought everyone had a fancy ring an every day ring. My mom and grandma did.

I work in construction and when I'm working in the field I don't even wear my e-ring sometimes. So for me, I'd like to have a plain ring I can wear all the time.

So for an update, the matching ring was PERFECT. Matches the contour and size of the stones. FH likes titanium more than tungsten, so that's the kind of ring we will be going with.

so i have a plain gold band that was my grandma's. i had it fit to my size. but i also saw a great one that is 3 bands of pave set diamonds. because of the shape of my ering i will hvae to wear them on either hand. I travel on the subway to jamaica everyday, so that is why i thought i wanted the plain band...but now i don't know :P

I work from home so I dont wear my ER everyday. Bw working, cleaning the house & taking the dogs out I already bent a prong. I plan to have a plain band to wear everyday or when I am being rough (beach, playing softball, etc)
