What did you do about your engagement ring sinc ehte wedding ring is supposed to go on first... did you wear your e ring on your right hand, did you take it off at the altar, did you just leave it on and switch it later?

Re: Rings/Walking down the aisle
It is suppoed to go on your right hand.. mine doesnt really fit there too great.,.. so I will probably switch it to my right pinky at the last second possible!

Re: Rings/Walking down the aisle
I've seen people wear it on their left hand and have their band go over it, and then switch afterwards..

Re: Rings/Walking down the aisle
I'll probably end up just leaving it on my left hand and switching them after the ceremony since my fingers are weird and my e-ring doesn't fit on my right ring finger

Re: Rings/Walking down the aisle
I'm just planning on leaving my e-ring on my lefthand, have FH put my wedding band on and then switch it after the ceremony. I would put it on my right hand though if it fit but it doesn't.

Re: Rings/Walking down the aisle
I'm going against the norm because I like the way my wedding band looks on the outside so I'm not really any help lol but I was talking to one of FH's friends and she said she just switched them after the ceremony.

Re: Rings/Walking down the aisle
Im leaving mine on the left because my wedding band is an insert so no matter what I am going to have to take of my ering to place it in the middle.

Re: Rings/Walking down the aisle
I went with wearing on the right and DH went to put the wedding band on the right because he assumed because my ering was there... caused a few laughs then after the ceremony I moved the ering back over to the left on top of the band.
