Steve Irwin, The Crocodile Hunter, was killed by a sting ray. Although it was kind of expected that his messing around with dangerous animals would kill him, I'm still shocked. Maybe in heaven he can mess around with dinousaurs or something with no worries.

It's such a sad story.
Even though you know that he does all those dangerous stuff, you never thought it would happen so early.

Im actually mildly depressed about it! ITs so terrible and freaky!!! I enjoyed his shows and his fun personality!!
I actually may rethink doing a stingRay tour on our honeymoon cruise.

i kno i was thinkin the same thing...i will never do a stingray tour ever...no matter how cool it seemed. you just never know.

Supposedly, the stingray that killed him was like the size of a car. So I wouldn't go cancelling all your plans just yet. Because the ones you'd be with wouldn't be anywhere as big as that.

I heard that there have only been 17 other recorded incidents that some one was killed by a stingray. That is so random.
Also, people on the radio were saying that the places where you can swim with stingrays have the tails clipped somehow so they can't sting you like that
