RIP Angel

We just came inside from burying Angel. We have a very peaceful spot in between two fig trees...it's in a part of the backyard that always has sun. He'll be warm when it's cool out, and he'll have shade when it's hot. He was an indoor cat, so he'll finally be able to enjoy the outside, not just from the window.

I'm in so much pain right now. This cat was truly my baby. He wasn't even like a cat. We're all so devastated. My sister is really bad, she wasn't home when it happened, so she feels incredibly guilty, and she's in such a weakened state from her episode last week that I'm really worried for her.

My father broke down more than when his brother died last year.

And my poor mother...she's all alone now. I'm leaving, my sister is at school, and my father is always working. I feel such incredible guilt now that she has no one to keep her company all day.

Thank you everyone again. Knowing you girls were thinking of me helps a little.

I think I'm just going to take some time for myself for a bit though

Ali, I am so sorry. I know what it is like to lose a pet and I know it's hard. But, the one thing that comforts me is knowing that they are happy in kitty heaven and no longer suffering. Hang in there hun.
