Has anyone ever been to one of them? How are they compared to other 'all inclusive' resorts?
I am going to the rui palace in Cabo for my bachlorette party. This is an all-inclusive resort that I personally have never been to, but one of my BM's have been to the exact one and LOVED it, which is why she suggested we go for my bachlorette. Sorry I couldnt be more help!
We stayed at the RIU Palace Riviera Maya in Playa del Carmen last August! It was really very nice. The beach is SO nice (soft sand, CLEAN water). It was a little over an hour drive from Cancun. The service was good and the staff were very friendly (we did have one minor issue with a staff member who was, in our opinions, very unprofessional...but the hotel manager remedied the situation pretty quickly). Other than that, the entertainment at night and on the beach and at the pool was great, the drinks were good, the restaurants were really nice, and in the end we wished we could have had one more night there! If you happen to stay there, look for ISLAS he's the BEST bartender there!!
