Riveria Brides..

Riveria Brides..

So I checked out The Riveria last night, my FH and I fell in love with the venue and the view. My only concern is the seating. Will guest feel too cramped? I expect to have around175 guests. The cocktail hour seemed beautiful (weather premitting) but will guest all have a seat? I feel they are very accommodating and provide so much for the cost. Thoughts?? Thanks again :)

We are having no more then 150 (probably closer to 130) and I think that is total max honestly, you CAN put people in that back right wing but then they won't be able to see anything that is going on. We are having our photobooth setup back there. Our photographer family friend said he did a wedding there when they had 200 people and it was so cramped. CH would be fine for seating especially if you have the outside out if it's nice enough.

I hope this helps =)

Okay thanks for your feedback. We are going to try to keep the number low. I will probably put the photo booth in the same location. Are you using their centerpieces? I'm not too familiar with Tim's Florist.

We TRIED to keep our's low and we'll be at about 180/90. They can do crafty things, like putting the DJ in the 'Juliet balcony' and that helps with extra seating on the dance floor. Don't be afraid to think outside of the box! We have our wedding there in August and Vicky made me feel confident that we will be OK.

I am not using the plan rose centerpieces, but Tim's is doing my flowers and we are up-grading the centerpieces. The florists at Tim's are like having your Aunts do you flowers for you - they couldn't be nicer and they are sisters. I highly recommend them as well - they work at the Riviera all the time.

Hope this helps!

They can fit 130 people without using that weird space in the back? I was worried about this but love the idea of setting up photobooth back there.

Well you can put some tables on the dance floor to avoid putting people back there and the dance floor is HUGE so it's okay. I didn't want to have more then 8 people at a table but with 150 people we can have 10 people to a table and not have any tables on the dance floor except ours

I believe they seat 150 MAX even with that space. I'm so happy to be reading more reviews about my venue!!!

I know, you can't really find much info on the Riviera on here lol I just left a message for Vickie so we can schedule our tasting =)We booked pretty much on the spot there. FH has had a few family events there so we know the place is great =)
