Riviera

Is anyone having their wedding at the Riviera? Anyone go to see it yet? I want to know if it is worth checking out. Looks really nice on the website!!

Re: Riviera

I went to go see the Riviera when I was on my hall search - we decided on the Hamlet Wind Watch.
It is beautiful with the water views and very reasonable $$ but I did not like the cocktail room.
The Riviera would be great for a spring/summer wedding and have the CH outside.

Re: Riviera

I am sooooo glad to help you & anyone else....I am glad I am helping and returning the favor b/c soooo many of the girls helped me when I had the same questions.
I am putting up the wall at HWW b/c I am also having the seasons grill room for my CH so my guests will have more room to roam around.
Also, I don't want my guests to see the reception room until the time of the reception.
If you are having a spring/summer wedding - you can have the CH outside.....

HTH!

Rivera is beautiful. I thought it was too small for my 200 + guest list. If you have 150-170 people its perfect.

Re: Riviera

im getting married at the riviera. its gorgeous. its definetely too small if you have a 200 plus guest list. they redid the cocktail room which is huge now (and you have the option of having it outside too which is amazing) they also redid the outside. new patio furniture, new flowers, etc. i definetely recommend it. my BM meghan is amazing. she's there to return any emails right away and is just super nice. i would use her if i were you. the price is also amazing. especially if you have it off season or have it on a thursday in season (which im doing) i got an unbeatable price. definetely check them out.

Re: Riviera

I went to check it out. It has a really nice view. The room is nice, but the room is oddly shaped. It can't accomodate large parties. Also soon as you walk in the room you are on the dance floor. I didn't like that.

I walked in, looked at the room and left.

Re: Riviera

I love the Riviera. We knew we wanted to get married there after attending a friends wedding there. We didn't even look at any other places. It's not set up like a typical reception hall, which in my opinion makes it so unique and beautiful. There are fireplaces on either end of the dance floor. The location on the water is perfect. The bar is beautiful, dark, mohagany wood and it's big! The outside cocktail hour is really nice if the weather permits. If you are having 150 people or less, the Riviera is perfect. More than 150 might be tight. The people that work there are amazing. Everyone is so nice and accomodating to your needs. Read my review and check out my pictures.
