Riviera at Massapequa

I'd like to pick your collective brains one more time.We just visited the Riviera at Massapequa, and really liked it alot. The views were beautiful, and the facility very nice. I'm concerned about the food. If anyone has been there, and can comment on the food, I'd appreciate it. Thanks for any info you can give.

I was married there this past May, I have to say that overall the food was good, the dessert was wonderful. The service was also good, except the matrie`d was lacking. She really was not all that helpful, but I have to say I received may compliments about the Riviera. The grounds are beautiful, the price is right, and they only have one wedding. Well good luck, I hope this was helpful!

We checked it out and loved the view but beyond that we thought their menu and services lacked what others offered. If you are looking to save $$ but are willing sacrifice a bit on that end, than it seems like a good pick. Good luck!

Annie I agree with you about the maitre'd --she was not the best I had seen--as for the selection I agree with Jenny--but from what I have seen they are not on the cheaper side-- the wedding in June was $92 p/p(but i think that was after tax and gratuity) and my wedding was considerably higher--but i still dont think $92 is on the low end--but i could be wrong Laura

I think I paid 72 pp, but I had booked them 18 months before my wedding, in 1999, I'm not sure what the pricing is now.
